Fusion Business Solutions was founded by Marc Brien and his wife Karen in July 1999.
After completing an Honours Degree in Applied Mathematics, Marc joined Ford Motor Company on their Graduate programme. He later transferred to Ford Motor Credit in the United Kingdom. He then worked in a family automotive business employing almost 200 people for ten years.
Using his experience wholesale, finance and retail, Marc launched a consulting business with the vision of supplying a broad range of business services.
After two years the business become accredited by the Australian Government as a Registered Training Organisation, able to offer nationally accredited training courses such as Certificate programmes and Diploma of Management.
In 2005 the company started a new software division, focusing on Business Intelligence tools, which gave the company additional capability that most training companies do not have. This division was re-named Op2ma in 2011 and given it’s independence.
In 2006 the company opened a representative office in Shanghai, China. Other Australian offices were opened in Sydney and Melbourne during 2010.
Also during 2010 the company formed a partnership venture with RTS Consultants in the United Kingdom, providing clients with a training and consulting footprint on a global scale.
For a small business based in Adelaide, South Australia, Fusion was able to win some of the world’s most famous brands as clients. Harley-Davidson, Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Mitsubishi, ANZ bank, Hyundai are among some of the names who have become Fusion clients.
The company has a robust independent Board structure helping it to chart a course to growth.
